We want YOU - creatives, designers, illustrators and quick thinkers - to help spread the word that #ATreeIsNotJustForChristmas.
With the festive season upon us, there’s nothing that makes us feel more prepared for Christmas than decorating a Christmas Tree. But beyond being something to help us get into the festive spirit, trees are vital to all life on earth, and they should be treated as such with their global importance heralded.
Together, we want to help raise the profile of the humble tree, as this time of year when they are brought into our homes to play such a personal role as the star of our Christmas festivities - because trees are actually superstars all year round, all over the planet!
From planting trees and protecting biodiversity and nature, to rewilding patches of your garden or growing flowers on your balcony for bees, each small contribution is a positive action.
Create a poster, a design, illustration, sketch, scribble or whatever else you can think of to share your own thoughts on the issue. As part of this, we’d love to see and hear about your own favourite trees or trees you’ve planted yourselves (either via Ecologi or manually) to make a difference to the world and help combat climate change.
