The brief
Draw from your creativity! The Canva Draw app is here, letting you draw, highlight, and take notes in your Canva designs. From posters to presentations, it’s the perfect way to add your finishing touches and strokes of creativity. By the time you had read that opening paragraph, you could have created a Canva design, doodled on it, shipped it, and popped the kettle on for your afternoon tea. It’s that easy.
The Draw app allows users to draw and write freehand for the first time in Canva! This provides our users with even more flexibility in the way they design, so they can better realise their creative goals without having to switch to other apps. And best of all it’s free!
The app allows for basic drawing/annotation in Canva with a selection of brushes and controls.
Users can’t erase/edit a drawing once the app is closed (it becomes an image at that point, which can be deleted or copied like any other image).
Available on desktop and tablet only.

If you want to get a hands-on feel of the Canva Draw app, open any Canva design, click on the three dots (...) on the bottom left-hand corner, and click on the Draw app.
