One Minute Brief of the Day: Create posters that are a refreshing change from current doom & gloom Covid ads & encourage the public to keep going that little bit longer. #LetsGetThereSooner

Today we’ve got a great brief in partnership with The Drum where we can show how we’d go OMB-style on current government advertising. The constant bombardment with negative messaging, public shaming and blaming are beginning to wear thin and, in my opinion, have the opposite effect as people begin to switch off from it. The negative reception to the ‘Look them in the eyes’ campaign shows just how fed up people are with this advertising approach. So that’s why we’re happy to support the initiative and spread the same important messages in much more positive ways.

Really looking forward to what the OMBLES come up with for this one!!

About:

We all want lockdown to be over and get back to the things – and people – we love. But to get there, we have to collectively stick to the rules just a little while longer.

A group of UK advertising luminaries, led by Sir Nigel Bogle, have grown frustrated with the gloomy tone of their country’s coronavirus campaigns. Instead, they think we can get there sooner with a more positive campaign encouraging people to share what they’re looking forward to after lockdown.

They’ve created their alternative ad campaign, which you can watch below…

Now we want the OMB community to support the #LetsGetThereSooner campaign with their positive posters that show what they are looking forward to the most whilst encouraging people to keep going that little bit longer.

Tweet your entries to @OneMinuteBriefs and @TheDrum with the hashtag #LetsGetThereSooner

Shortlisted entries will be featured on The Drum’s website!!

What we want to do with today’s campaign:

  • Champion: Beyond The White Line recognises that athletes are much more than their sporting accolades. Above all they are people; with identities, responsibilities, talents and lives. The women’s sporting landscape is made up of incredible women with incredible stories which need to be heard.

  • Challenge: We want to challenge the status quo, by acknowledging that not all women in sport face the same hurdles, and provoking conversations surrounding the variety of socio-economic, ethnicity & race related issues each individual will face during and beyond their career.

  • Change: Beyond The White Line is here to drive real change by acting as advocates for Women’s sports and affording real representation to the amazing individuals involved. Women’s sport deserves a real platform and true visibility. At BTWL, every day is international women’s day, and we will always strive for more.

We want to see impactful submissions that could become something much bigger!!

One Minute Brief of the Day: Create posters to promote ‘Beyond The White Line’ and the great work they do in the world of sport. @BeyondTWL

We are delighted to announce a partnership with ‘Beyond the White Line’ across 2021, in which we will be running several OMBs to help raise awareness and create change within the world of sport. We often forget that there are human beings behind the teams we support…or their rivals. And it’s time that changed. We hope everyone will get involved today and help get ‘Beyond the White Line’ seen across our community.

I have a huge passion for sport and it’s amazing to be able to partner with such a great organisation to help bring attention to and help affect change for the issues that people involved in sport face. As a former Man City Academy player, I know what it’s like to miss out on your dreams and recently we’ve seen the terrible effects that can have on people without the necessary support in place. This is what ‘Beyond the White Line’ are here to do and help sportspeople with wellbeing, inclusion, diversity, homophobia and lots more.
— Nick Entwistle - One Minute Briefs Founder

CHANGING THE GAME.

Beyond The White Line (BTWL) is a not-for-profit organisation that seeks to affect change within the professional sports industry for athletes and stakeholders alike. We want to ensure that generations of athletes and those within the ecosystem of sport have a sustainable future, within an environment that is Human First.

With your help, BTWL will become the main resource for both professional athletes and all those that work within professional sport.

IMPACT

The figures surrounding these themes are breathtaking.

  • Retired Athletes are 285 times more likely to go bankrupt than anyone else.

  • 1 in 2 professional footballers are bankrupted within 5 years of leaving the game; 1 in 3 – divorced.

  • Professional Cricket sees a suicide rate of more than double the national average.

  • More than one third of Athletes report symptoms of Depression and Anxiety – again, double the national average – yet fewer than 40% had sought or even felt the right help was available.

  • On average, less than one third (29%) of Athletes actually get to choose when they retire. Most lack the tools, or understanding to utilise the skillset Professional Sports has afforded them to transition to a new discipline, and are thrust into career abyss.

SUPPORTING ATHLETES

We aim to leave a legacy within not only professional sport, but in wider society.

Changing the global landscape and conversation within these key areas. Ensuring not only that future generations reap the benefits of all that we achieve, but also the sustainability of the beautiful sports we all love is improved as a result.

Being able to be human first, athlete second.

OUR AIM

We are aiming for a sporting world where not only fans but society as a whole reconnect with the humans behind the athletes, CEOs, and professional body heads.

Understanding that changing the game for good can have a profound impact on not only those it directly affects but also wider society

ABOUT

James Chiffi is the founder & CEO of Beyond the White Line. The social impact entrepreneur set up the organisation as a “human-first” response to his time serving as an artist manager in the music industry.

It was during this time that James saw the parallels between the entertainment and sports industries, the challenges that arise from the “talent” being viewed in purely commercial terms as a commodity, and the human cost of this – which is there for all to see.

“We are about to change the global landscape for professional sport and beyond. No one really goes deep enough, and has done enough to make a real change… and that’s what we intend to do.”

Prize:

About #SauceJustGotReal

The condiment category is boring and dated, dominated by the big boys and bland, cheap equivalents. Our sauces are converting the most diehard of big brand fans and it’s time to spread the word!

People are spending more time preparing their food and putting so much love into it, what is the point of ruining all that hard work by covering it in bad sauce? We’ve had enough! No more boring sauce.

We’ll take it from here…

So the brief is to design posters to spread the word that @sauceshop are changing the condiment game. Don’t pour second best on your plate! Better has arrived.

Our sauces are made here in the UK, using nothing artificial and they taste so much better than anything else on the supermarket shelves.

More info: https://www.sauceshop.co/pages/our-story

The winning design/s will encapsulate Sauce Shop’s tone of voice: authentic, rebellious, flippant, creative. There should be an air of confidence without arrogance.

People should not have to stand for second rate condiments!

One Minute Brief of the Day: Create posters to remind young people that breast cancer can affect them and encourage them to check their chests regularly @CoppaFeelPeople #CoppaFeelNow

This week marks 12 years since our founder Kristin was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer at the age of 23 and came up with the idea for CoppaFeel!

We are teaming up with the OMBLES to get creative and spread awareness across the country. Breast cancer doesn't discriminate and early detection is lifesaving - so we want every young person to feel confident checking their chests. We hope as many people as possible get involved in this one!!

Full-Logo-Colour-1.png

Our mission is to drive awareness of breast cancer in 18-24 year olds and shift their perceptions of relevance, helping them to understand that breast cancer isn't just something that affects older women (or indeed, just women).

Therefore our key message for today’s OMB is…

Breast cancer affects young people - CoppaFeel! want you to remind them and encourage them to check their chest regularly.

Please tweet your submissions to @OneMinuteBriefs and @CoppaFeelPeople with the hashtag… #CoppaFeelNow Please include the link: coppafeel.org/your-boobs/boob-check-101 in your tweets.

Prize: Winner receives some CoppaFeel! Goodies!!!

Have fun with your entries but make sure they are respectful at all times!!

A little blurb on CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! exists to give all young people the best chance of surviving breast cancer, by ensuring that every case is diagnosed early and correctly. To do this they aim to drive greater breast awareness in young people, not only giving 18-24 year olds the tools to check, but the confidence to seek help if they notice a change, and the reassurance that they are the best advocates for themselves and their health. We want every young person to understand that breast cancer is relevant to them, regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity or background.

One Minute Brief of the Day: Create posters to encourage the public to #ShareTheLove in support of healthcare workers ahead of Valentine's Day with @TheHWF

Having previously created NHS inspired Valentine’s cards, today we are looking to spread even more love and positivity ahead of Valentine’s Day this weekend and supporting the Healthcare Workers’ Foundation with our 3rd brief together.

Hope all of the OMBLES will get involved today and, collectively, we can help promote something great and show our healthcare workers some love!

Tweet your submissions to @OneMinuteBriefs, @thehwf, @roshanaMN, @jesswade, @AskJeevesWij, @DrDomPimenta, @NHSMillion and @LoveYourNHS with the hashtag #ShareTheLove

If you can… please include the link gofundme.com/f/nhs-valentines-day in your tweets!

PRIZE:

We cannot offer a prize, but we can offer you the warm fuzzy feeling of contributing to a very good cause and making a real difference to those trying to save lives!! We will also be sharing shortlisted entries from the HWF feeds on the day!!

image3-2.png

BRIEF:

Today we are calling on the OMBLES to help support the Healthcare Workers’ Foundation’s new initiative ahead of the ‘day of love’ to support healthcare workers. We’re hoping to communicate some of the great things the HWF is doing below but with a Valentine’s style twist!!

  • The Valentine’s Day appeal will help the charity provide exhausted all frontline staff with vital services such as PPE equipment, professional counselling and childcare grants.

  • The charity is calling on the public to donate their unspent Valentine’s Day funds to help support those working to keep the nation alive.

With Valentine’s Day incredibly difficult this year as the nation remains under a third lockdown, the Healthcare Workers’ Foundation (HWF) is calling on the romantics of the UK to ‘show their love’ for someone else this year and donate what they would otherwise have spent going out to help exhausted healthcare workers on the frontline.

Brits are said to have spent a whopping £1 billion on the national day of love in 2020, but with a very different world this year the charity, which was founded by NHS workers for NHS workers at the start of the pandemic, is encouraging the nation to donate their Valentine’s Day funds to our much-loved frontline NHS workers.

Donations received will help the charity to continue delivering goods and services, including PPE, free counselling sessions and childcare grants.

Jeeves Wijesuriya, spokesperson for Healthcare Workers’ Foundation said:

“The past year has been rocky for all of us. And we must also remember our frontline workers have been under huge pressure during this pandemic, putting themselves at risk to care for us and our loved ones.

“If we are to keep our NHS and frontline staff going, we must do all we can to support their mental health and wellbeing. We want to show healthcare workers just how loved they are this Valentine’s Day. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will go towards helping those working tirelessly to help us in our hour of need.”

Despite the lockdown, new research from UK comparison site, Finders UK, found that Brits still plan on celebrating the day of love and will spend an average of £25 this Valentine’s Day. For every ten people who donate £25, this could help to provide healthcare workers with hours of professional counselling for NHS workers.

The impact of the pandemic on NHS workers physically and mentally continues to worsen, with reports suggesting nearly half of NHS critical staff are dealing with severe PTSD, depression, or anxiety. The HWF was founded to help combat these issues and through the Valentine’s Day appeal the charity hopes to continue protecting the welfare and wellbeing of NHS workers, from helping to support with both physical and mental health, as well as ensuring frontline staff have access to day-to-day necessities, as well as supporting the bereaved families of healthcare workers that lost their lives during the pandemic.

One Minute Brief of the Day: Create posters to promote our parody of The Grand Tour... #TheBlandTour

Today’s brief is a fun one that I hope all the OMBLES will get involved in! We’re looking for posters to promote #TheBlandTour, which is our parody of The Grand Tour featuring Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond & James May.

Myself and my friend/old creative partner, James Clancy, created the brand in the form of instagram.com/theblandtour after sharing pictures over Whatsapp of old and ‘bland’ cars when we spot them. We used to work in Wilmslow and one day we were admiring an old red Austin Montego sat in traffic before realising that there was an Aston Martin in front and a Bentley behind it.

We love these types of car as you don’t see them often and we feel that the blandness, unique character and rarity should be celebrated!!

Please tweet your entries to @OneMinuteBriefs with the hashtag #TheBlandTour and link to instagram.com/oneminutebriefs. And, don’t forget to give us a follow!

You may even want to mention @JeremyClarkson @MrJamesMay @RichardHammond & @TheGrandTour in your tweets too!

Prize: Your choice of OMBook 1-4

(You can also get 15% off any of these books today with code WRITER15 here.

In your submissions, we’d like to see how you’d parody the show but featuring the blandest, oldest cars that you can think of. Maybe you could include your old family classic cars in your submissions. How would you review the cars, sell them or feature them on the fictitious TV show, The Bland Tour.

Feel free to use any of the photos on our Instagram or good old Google.

The uglier, blander and older the better!!

CONTEXT:

WeatherReady is a year round campaign - run in partnership with Cabinet Office – to help you prepare for and cope with severe weather. Thinking ahead and preparing for what the weather may bring can make a real difference.

Members of the public visiting the Met Office website for the latest weather forecast are able to access up-to-date, expert seasonal advice from carefully selected organisations to enable them to prepare for and respond to the weather, so they can stay safe and protect their property.

Here are a few simple steps you can take to prepare yourself, your vehicle and your home or business:

  • Get your flu jab
Seasonal flu occurs every year, usually in winter. The flu vaccine can reduce the chances of those most vulnerable to COVID-19 getting flu.

  • Check your vehicle is winter ready
Top up with a screen wash that is effective in cold temperatures, check your tyres are road-worthy and pack a winter kit for your car.

  • Check your heating
Cold weather can be a risk to your health especially if you are over 65 or have a long-term health condition. Your home should be heated to more than 18°C.

  • Plumbing checks can save money
Freezing and thawing can cause pipe bursts. Check your pipes are insulated especially outside and make sure you know where your stop tap is.

  • Weatherproof your home and garden
Think about what might be impacted by strong winds or flooding around your home. Organise maintenance checks and consider moving items.

  • Have basic supplies to hand
Put useful things such as water, torch, and batteries plus emergency numbers in a bag in case a storm takes out power, water or phone lines.

  • Make alternative plans
You may need alternative commuting plans for severe weather, and alternative childcare plans in case of school or nursery closures.

  • Think of vulnerable neighbours
Look out for others in your community and help people access the supplies, help or information they need to keep them safe and well in winter.

More info here: https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/warnings-and-advice/weatherready

These pages provide up-to-date, expert seasonal advice from carefully selected organisations to ensure members of the public can prepare for and respond to the weather, to stay safe and protect their homes and businesses.

DO’s

  • Use the Met Office colour palette and logo;

  • Keep it simple and impactful;

DONT’s…

  • No referencing political agendas;

  • Do not mock up any National Severe Weather Warning content using the Met Office logo

  • Don’t reference catastrophic weather events

WINNING CRITERIA

  • Best posters will be unique and inspire people to think ahead and take action to prepare for the impacts of weather. They will clearly position us as weather and climate experts.

About:

At Clear Channel we create the future of media. We love nothing more than being a platform for brands and a platform for good. We’ve been showing posters on our sites for over 50 years now. So we’ve seen one or two good ones, and a fair few bad ones in our time. We love great poster design.

Did you know that the average person looks at a billboard for less than 7 seconds?

That’s why we’re joining forces, once again, with One Minute Briefs to set a brief that challenges the OMBLES to explore capturing peoples imagination in a very short space of time.

As it’s the 14th today, it’s exactly one month today until Valentine’s Day. So we’re doing something extra special in the run-up…

We want to show our support and love for all of the NHS staff working so hard throughout the pandemic and, with the distressing news this week that mental health is deteriorating amongst frontline NHS workers, it's more important than ever to demonstrate how much we love them.

That’s why we wanted to join forces with One Minute Briefs and Love Your NHS to set a brief that challenges the OMBLES to show what the NHS means to them and share the love with special Valentine’s-style messages. We’ll be getting the cards created and sending them to hospitals up and down the country to show them what the NHS means to us.

The more submissions we get, the stronger the message will be.

Brief:

Create posters/cards to show you love the NHS and @thortful will bring them to life & send them to our heroes on Valentine's Day! #NHSValentines

We want the OMBLES to come up with shareable and inspirational messages that NHS staff will open on Valentine’s Day and give them a smile. They deserve that right now!

We look forward to seeing all of the great stuff you come up with!

Tweet your entries to @OneMinuteBriefs, @LoveYourNHS and @thortful with the hashtag #NHSValentines

You can also tag in @ChasingStigma and @NHScharities, who this campaign is supporting with 100% of the profits of cards sales being split between them.

About Chasing the Stigma

Chasing the Stigma are putting amazing support in place for NHS staff affected by the pandemic on their Hub of Hope app.

The app brings together all the mental health support available to someone in any given area. The Hub of Hope is the only service of its kind that brings together NHS, voluntary, grassroots, private and third sector mental health support details nationally and locally, with over 1,800 services registered and its database growing daily.

Hub of Hope believes that no matter what you're going through, you shouldn't have to do it alone. Using geolocation technology our map will direct you instantly to help in your local area. OMB of the Day: Create posters to promote #HealthChain from @TheHWF, supporting NHS workers at this time of crisis with counselling, PPE, childcare grants, food & mental health support.

With the situation getting worse for NHS workers right now, we are running today’s brief in support of an amazing new platform that is helping NHS staff to get the support they deserve when they need it most.

I really do hope all of the OMBLES get involved today. If you’re reading this right now. Have a go. And. collectively we can help promote something great and show our support of our healthcare workers.

BRIEF:

Create posters that promote the new NHS worker platform called ‘HealthChain’ from the Healthcare Workers’ Foundation, supporting and connecting NHS workers at this time of crisis to counselling, PPE, childcare grants, food and mental health support.

Do it in a visually emotive way, to help raise money so the charity can continue to support the frontline as much as we can.

Tweet your submissions to @OneMinuteBriefs, @thehwf, @roshanaMN, @jesswade, @AskJeevesWij and @DrDomPimenta with the hashtags #HealthChain & #HelpThemHelpUs

PRIZE:

We cannot offer a prize, but we can offer you the warm fuzzy feeling of contributing to a very good cause and making a real difference to those trying to save lives in the worst circumstances imaginable.

image1-2.png

CONTEXT:

The Healthcare Workers’ Foundation (Formerly HEROES), was founded by NHS workers at the height of the pandemic to look after the welfare and wellbeing  of NHS staff at the worst moment of their working lives. Since it’s humble beginnings, it’s provided over 500,000 items of PPE, food, skincare products, units of counselling, childcare grants and more.

Health Chain

We have a tired and beleaguered workforce of 1.5m NHS workers, struggling with a third wave, the largest yet, of a deadly virus. They cannot cope on their own. But they are not alone – they have a whole country behind them, of individuals, businesses, inventors, engineers. HealthChain exists to connect NHS workers to each other, but also to that wider world of good will, converting the desperate desire for so many to do their bit into real and tangible good for those fighting the virus in our hospitals and communities.

HealthChain is a fully-functional custom-built platform, providing extensive mental and physical support services to ALL healthcare workers, connecting to our external friends and partners as well as our internal services for childcare grants. We also use HealthChain to take the pulse of our healthcare workers, what they need, what’s working, what isn’t, PPE supplies, counselling requirements, what boosts morale – this is a key part of how the Healthcare Workers’ Foundation stays relevant and connected, delivering funds raised as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Your support and donation will help us to continue to fund access to counselling, our Safe Spaces project, food, morale projects and PPE deliveries, childcare grants and provide discounts through a wide range of services with our network of HWF Friends.

What the public can do to help:

HealthChain has been created in response to the fractured and difficult world of support for healthcare workers that’s out there – different groups of professionals, different hospitals, different care settings – all offer support but in different and inefficient ways. We want to create a one-stop shop for ALL healthcare workers, to connect them directly with the immense goodwill of the public, so we can all get through this together.

We need to connect the public to all healthcare workers, so we can all fight the pandemic, together.

For NHS workers you can sign-up to Health Chain with an NHS email here

For the general public, you can learn more about the HWF and donate here:

One Minute Brief of the Day: Create posters to creatively promote the #WalkForWater challenge with @CAFOD

We want to share our brilliant new challenge and encourage people from across the UK to get involved, uniting to help fight poverty.

That’s why we wanted to join forces with One Minute Briefs to set a brief that challenges the OMBLES to creatively encourage others to take on a new challenge this Lent.

CAFOD_and_W4W_logo.png

Brief:

Create posters to creatively promote the #WalkForWater challenge.

Walk for Water is a challenge that takes place over Lent. It’s a chance for you to transform your life while changing someone else’s. Walk it, skip it, spin it, run it. Do it your way: 10,000 steps a day, every day, for 40 days.

Millions of people around the world don’t have clean safe water near their homes. Some have to walk ten hours a day, every day, to get water.

The main thing is that we all unite to help fight poverty, together.

Create posters that creatively display:

  • Creative ways of doing 10,000 steps a day

  • People uniting together to help fight poverty

  • Why people should go the distance so that someone else doesn’t have to

We want the OMBLES to come up with an inspirational poster and message that encourages people across the UK to join in with the #WalkForWater challenge, spreading positivity in the fight against poverty in all sorts of creative ways!

We look forward to seeing all of the great stuff you come up with!

Tweet your entries to @OneMinuteBriefs and @CAFOD with the hashtag #WalkForWater.

Prizes:

£100 World Gifts voucher for the winner!

Shortlisted entries could be shared on @CAFOD’s social channels for the new campaign!

About CAFOD:

We are an international development charity and the official aid agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales.

We believe in a world where we can reach every woman, man and child so that they can flourish. We are part of a global Church network with a local presence in 165 countries and territories. Together we make up one of the largest aid networks in the world.

One Minute Brief of the Day: Create posters for the Healthcare Workers’ Foundation #FamilyFund project, supporting the bereaved families of healthcare workers who lost their lives during the pandemic.

Today’s brief is a hugely important one that I hope all of the OMBLES will get involved with. This is also the last One Minute Brief of 2020. So let’s go out with a bang! Please retweet as many entries as you can to spread the word too!

This brief is also particularly meaningful as, in the past week, I’ve been looked after following by healthcare workers before, during and after back surgery. I wrote about how badly it affected me in the last 18 months here: bankofcreativity.co.uk/blog/thestruggleisreal

I was also taken in ambulance yesterday to A&E as I had chest pains. They picked me up in minutes and did all the various checks on the ward. I am in again this morning for a further CT scan too. So, in only a few days, I’ve been cared for by many healthcare workers. I’d love it if the OMBLES can help me say thank you to them, their co-workers and the families of those that lost their lives during the pandemic whilst caring for people like me.

One Minute Brief of the Day:

Do it in a visually emotive way while making it unique to The Healthcare Workers’ Foundation and helping to raise money for this really important cause.

We cannot offer a prize, but we can offer you the warm fuzzy feeling of contributing to a very good cause and making a real difference to people’s lives, who lost a loved one saving others.

The Family Fund:

We are now working with the bereaved families of those healthcare workers we couldn’t protect, the over 640 men and women that lost their lives to COVID, looking after our families, that leave behind families of their own.

Families like that of Elsie Sazuze, a 44-year-old care home nurse, who tragically lost her life in April after contracting the virus. The HWF has been supporting her husband and their children:

"This is our first Christmas without my wife Elsie. Losing her has been devastating, and something words cannot explain. The HWF has supported us in ways we couldn’t have imagined, including helping my son to secure a great internship which may not have been possible otherwise."

Your support and donation will help us to provide access to counselling and other practical support both during the grieving period and into the future, including respite breaks and mentoring support for children and young adults.

What the public can do to help:

The Family Fund has been created in response to direct feedback from healthcare workers who expressed fear and anxiety about the impact their work may have on their lives and the lives of their loved ones. We need to remind healthcare workers how much they are valued and that we stand behind them and their families as their supporters and allies. Over 640 healthcare workers have lost their lives in the pandemic so far, one of the worst records of any country in the world.

One Minute Brief of the Day: Brief: Create posters to advertise the number one gift on your santa list! #MySantaWishlist #MiniOMBLES

Today we’ve got a very special One Minute Brief of the Day with an incredible prize to be won. The chance to have the winning entry brought to life as an illustration or film by me and my good friend/talented artist, Steve Moyler!! This brief was inspired after Steve sent me a KFC poster his 7 year-old daughter had done to cheer me up following my back surgery on Thursday. ‘Merry Crispymas’!!! Absolutely brilliant.

So…today’s OMB is for the kids!

(unless you want to unleash your inner-child of course and go full-on scamp style!)

Brief:

Create posters to advertise the number one gift on your santa list!

As your kids, nieces, nephews, cousins and grand children have made a list, and you are checking it twice, we want them to bring to life the very thing that will bring them happiness in a few days and create a poster to advertise why it’s so great!

It can be for ANYTHING they want. From expected toys and games, to world peace, saving the environment or even a McDonalds breakfast! Everything goes this festive week for the young ones.

With many of you still working hard and lots of excited children counting the days, lets give these creative minds something to do to fill in the time – they are future OMBLES after all!

BRIEF:

Create a poster that advertises the Christmas present that is wanted most. They can use any paper, colour or crayon, laptop or iPad, they can even create a little TikTok advert!

Let’s give them full creative control as only they know how to do.

Tweet your submissions to @OneMinuteBriefs & @SteveMoyler with the hashtags #MyXmasWishlist & #MiniOMBLES

PRIZE:

Winner receives their vision brought to life! As well as a framed personalised illustration of them as anyone they wish to be or meet. One for the bedroom wall!

See some of the example above and below. Steve asked his children to draw themselves s superheroes and he brought them to life!

CONTEXT:

Christmas is coming and the ideas have been getting fat this season.

There have been some great Xmas adverts but we want to see what the OMB kids can do.

As you dash around for the last minute sends to Santa, let’s gift the young minds a moment to shine as the clock ticks down.

DO’s

• Be a child. (Big kids allowed)

• Be as creative as you want

• Use any advertising medium

• Let that young mind do its thing

• Make everyone excited about the number one gift on your Santa’s list

DONT’s…

• Be an adult (Children at heart allowed)

• Don’t amend their creativity!

WINNING CRITERIA

• The winning one will make us all feel like that moment we came down the stairs at 5am after being told ‘it’s too early and go back to bed!’

• We want the ‘HE’S BEEN!’ moment in a funny, simple and perfect way that only kids can do.

REMEMBER… “If they don’t know they will have a go!”

Sir Ken Robinson 4 March 1950 - 21 August 2020

So let’s give children’s creativity a Christmas cheer to end 2020. Good luck!
